Bragging Rights
Last week at my daughters' graduation - yeah, yeah, they have a stinkin graduation for everything now. Anyways, at her 6th grade assembly / graduation they handed out the usual awards for academic excellence, sports, etc.
Well, this year, there was one extra award. It was after a long speech about how much this student has done to help others, volunteer, academics, etc. This special student was my daughter. Madi was recognized by the Daughters of the American Revolution and given a certificate and medal in recognition of her hard work.
It was a special night for all of us. What a special person Madi is turning out to be!
